End of Summer

So almost 3 months have gone by since I last posted...life goes by fast these days! We had a great end of summer, Mackenzie had a great second birthday and we are now deep into fall..Molly turned 3 months old this week. She is a very active little girl- loves to stand and "sit up" and is already rolling over like crazy. She has stopped being a good sleeper at night and is up every 3-4 hrs again. Mackenzie and her love each other and love to talk and smile at each other. Mackenzie loves to climb up Molly's crib and say "good morning Molly moo moo!" Mackenzie is very sad we are done with the beach, she asks to go there almost everyday! Here is a picture preview- I will try to post some videos too...

Molly Grace

We are finally happy to announce Miss Molly Grace! Born on July 24th, 10:30 pm, 8 lbs, 6 oz, 20 inches. She certainly did not have the smoothest entry into the world, but is doing great now! I ruptured my uterus after 25 hrs of labor and had an emergency C-section. We are incredibly blessed that both Molly and mom are alive and well at this point! Mackenzie loves her new sister and all of her cousins love Molly as well! We have been overwhelmed by the support/love/food that we have received from family and friends and are thankful for all of it- we love you guys!! Molly is 3 wks old today and has already been to the beach twice- becoming a beach bum at an early age!

Summer Fun

Summer is finally here! We have been spending as much time as possible at the beach- Mackenzie is quite a beach bum and loves the water! She really just loves to run all around and throw rocks in the water...She has started memorizing songs now and sings along- very fun! We are still awaiting the arrival of baby #2- I have had a rough couple of weeks with a lot of false labor in the middle of the night, so we keep praying that the baby will come very soon! On a bright note Kevin has started his new job- we were blessed with him getting a big promotion right as I go on unpaid leave! Ok, stayed tuned for pics of the new bambino!!

Chatterbox!

The start of summer and Mackenzie is 21 mo old! She is in LOVE with playing outside and starts asking to go outside as soon as she wakes up on the morning (which lately has been before 6 everyday). She is in her "big sister" bed now and loves to get out of it and play in her room, but she is sleeping through the night in it with no problems! She is quite the chatterbox now and talks or sings all day long- most of her songs are about her cousin Hopey of course! Less than 6 wks until baby #2 arrives and we are hoping the next few weeks go by very fast! Here is a sampling of a Mackenzie original...

Winter/Early Spring

Finally some updates pictures! We had lots of snow this winter!! Took a great trip to Colorado, Wisconsin and the Bahamas...We had a last minute decision to stay in the Bahamas for another 3 days and were able to spend time with the Boucher family! 6 kids all staying at Serenity together was so fun! Our traveling is coming to an end again (for now) while we wait for the next Armstrong member to join the family :)

18 Months: Hopetown Trip!

Mackenzie is 18 months and new baby is 22 wks!! We just got back from our Bahama trip- Mackenzie had so much fun with her cousins Hope and Grant and thought it was so great to wake up in the same house as them every morning!
